Management Training

Management TrainingIn previous generations management training was easy. Managers were often promoted on their length of service and as long as they were dependable and knew the systems of the Organisation they generally survived.

As a manager you were in charge, you were the Guv’ nor the Boss or whatever title your subordinates decided to place on you. The reason for this was that in previous generations everyone knew that you were in charge, you made the plans and your staff did what they were told. The style of management was extremely autocratic and there was no such thing as effective communication effective feedback and motivation was purely wages at the end of the week and thankful to have a job.

We understand that in the current economic climate of today, many people are still thankful to have a job, but staff expectations are a lot higher from their manager or leaders now.
